The Periodic Table has a few particular sets of elements that can be difficult to keep straight,
and they are the reasons I made this quiz in the first place.
The first set is of the elements whose symbols come from old names that elements used to have, but don't anymore:
The symbols for the "th" elements are easy to get mixed up:
As are the symbols for the "pr" elements:
And also the symbols for the "rh"/"ru" elements:
Sometimes matching up the less-familiar of the "c" elements with their symbols can be tricky as well:
The choices that the quiz will offer are designed to provide special attention to all these easily-mixed-up parts of the table, so don't feel bad if you miss a lot of these at first.
